Do you often think about Climate Change? Does it frighten you - the overwhelming news of frequent weather changes and extreme climate predictions? Does it fascinate you - the possibilities and opportunities that could lie ahead for humankind and our planet?
The SDG Academy has just launched its newest course on the actionable steps societies, businesses and individuals can take to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, decarbonize the economy, and ensure a safe and prosperous climate future for all.
Filmed at the 2016 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP22), Climate Action is a 12-week free course that provides an overview of the policy priorities necessary to implement the Paris Climate Agreement.
This course is taught by professors and researchers from world-renowned institutions and initiatives, such as Columbia University’s Earth Institute, the Deep Decarbonization Pathways Project, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and the World Business Council For Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
The course (like all other SDG Academy courses) is free, entirely online and has no pre-requisites. So, take the first step towards positive climate action, gather your friends and click here to enroll today!
